Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of our mother, Norma. She was an incredible mother and extraordinary woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kind, generous and always positive – mom was one of them. His joie de vivre and joie de vivre are contagious. He loves to take care and always has words of encouragement. She is a loyal friend, the perfect hostess, and has a rare ability to make everyone she meets feel valued and at ease.

Mom was unwavering in her love of family and was passionate about family sports teams. From the merger of the AFL and the NFL to the creation of Major League Soccer, the World Cup, the NFL and his founding of the Chicago Bulls, he was with our father Lamar the whole time. She is the only person we know who can match her love of sports. Whether at home or in the stands of stadiums around the world, both share great joy.
In February, he played in his 57th and final Super Bowl and saw his beloved Chiefs lift the Lombardi Trophy for the third time. As the only woman to play in every Super Bowl, it was a fitting end to her winning streak.
Her quiet, deep faith sustained her throughout her life, and it is a great comfort to us to know that she is with the Lord. She will be greatly missed by our family, the Chiefs and FC Dallas family and all who knew her.
