Buhari reveals his wealth and asset a week after leaving office, says his cows have reduced

The previous president, Muhammadu Buhari submitted his declaration form as he lamented the reduction of his herd.

The former President’s Senior Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Garba Shehu, announced this on Saturday in a Twitter post as he shared a photo of the confirmation from the Bureau of Code of Conduct. Conduct (CCB).

He revealed that Buhari had no loans and no debt.

The confirmation was signed by CCB President, Isah Mohammed, and dated May 31.

The declarant identification number on the slip is PRES:000004.

It was previously reported that Buhari, on May 26, received copies of his property declaration form at the State Building, Abuja, before he transferred power to President Bola Tinubu on that date. May 29.

The CCB has noted that all outgoing and newly elected public servants have until May 29 to submit their asset declaration forms, after which asset verification will begin.

Shehu noted that in the completed manifest, Buhari’s inbound and outbound movable assets did not increase, but the ex-president’s animal population decreased “slightly”.

He also noted that Buhari maintains his only bank account with Union Bank.
